Jasmine Tips and Care

Jasminum is a family of sweetly scented vines that grow prolifically outdoors in the south. Here in Ohio we can grow them outside between Mother’s Day and Labor Day, bringing them indoors for the winter. Treat with an insecticide before bringing indoors.

When grown indoors, place your Jasmine in very bright filtered light.

Keep the soil moist, but not soggy. We recommend that you place your Jasmine on a pebble tray... it will help to increase the humidity near your plant.

Feed monthly with a liquid bloom booster fertilizer while the plant is actively growing. Feed bi-monthly when the plant is resting. Vines may be trimmed anytime the plant become unruly.
